Important Notes to Remember

We have become a Family Health Organization (FHO).The FHO is designed to improve your accessibility to your primary care provider for urgent concerns and avoid unnecessary use of walk-in clinics or the Emergency Department. Because your health record is with us, this ensures better care. Changes include:

  • Same day time slots are available for you to get an appointment for urgent concerns. We recommend calling or emailing earlier in the day to access one of these appointments.
  • Hours of availability extended with our After-Hours Clinic, by appointment only, for patients of our clinic and the Watson Medical Clinic (561 Eglinton Ave. West). To schedule an appointment for an urgent concern, call 416-907-8184 during the first 2 hours that the After-Hours Clinic is open (5-8pm: Mondays-Thursdays and 9am-12pm: Saturdays and Sundays). Please leave a message and you will receive a call back informing you of the time and location for your appointment. Do not email a request for an appointment for the After-Hours Clinic.  Emails are not monitored for this clinic
  • Before booking in the After-Hours clinic, try to book an appointment with your doctor first.
  • Non-urgent/elective visits such as physicals may now take longer to book. However, this does not affect timely visits for appointments such as well-baby or obstetrical visits.

On days when the office is closed and when there is no clinic available, call 811 to contact a registered nurse at Health811(previously known as Health Connect Ontario, which replaced Telehealth Ontario). This service is available 24 hours/7 days a week and is free. The nurse will advise you on next steps. IF THIS IS AN EMERGENCY, PLEASE GO TO THE NEAREST EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
